CNC Programmer

Wall Panel Systems, Inc. is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to fill this position immediately. Prime candidate will be experienced in all but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
• Should have a positive and professional attitude
• Available to work weekends and overtime
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.
• Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program. AphaCam, CIM-Tech, AutoCAD
• Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.
• Prepares geometric layout of designs using proper software.
• Determines sequence of operations in a program.
• Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations.
• Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency.
• Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs.
• Evaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time
• Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task.

Requirements

• Experience working with at least one CNC machine types
• 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Time is spent in front of a computer screen keyboarding and manipulation a mouse.
• Work hours M-F 7am-4:00pm, with flexibility for overtime as needed – Second/Third Shift Openings as well
• Must be willing to work in areas with high levels of noise such as plants or engineering departments.
• Positive/Can-Do/Team-Oriented state of mind

CNC Operator – Woodworking

Wall Panel Systems, Inc. is looking for experienced CNC Operators to fill positions immediately. We have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift options available and this would be for immediate hire after qualifying relevant experience. Prime candidate will be experienced in all but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machine
• Initiate programs and operate CNC for best quality output
• Process router nests per production requirements
• Spot check – quality control as parts are milled
• Maintain tooling database
• Clearly communicate with assembly downstream
• General machine maintenance: cleaning and inspection for proper function and safety
• Ability to work safely and steadily in one location for long periods
• Willingness to cross train and learn new skills; perform whatever functions are needed to ensure production consistency.

Requirements

• Woodworking experience preferred
• Experience working with at least one of the above named wood machine types
• 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
